Orchid rather easy to find in the eastern part of the territory but rarer in the west. This plant does not like light and it will be found most of the time on the edges of the undergrowth or on shady slopes. 

Its name comes from its fine and tangled roots.

It is said to be parasitic but it derives its subsistence from fungi and therefore from an underground association. As it has an air of resemblance to broomrapes which are parasitic plants, the confusion persists.
