Medium-sized orchid with whitish to pale yellow flowers. The labellum is finely punctuated with yellow to red dots on a brighter yellow background than the rest of the perianth. It can be confused with the Orchis provincialis (Orchis of Provence) but the latter has a whiter perianth.
