Anacamptis sancta (Saint Orchid): The plant is of medium size (15-30 cm) and blooms from late April to late May. In Rhodes, it is found in phrygana near the coast and inland in olive groves or at their edges, as the soil is now regularly hoed, preventing orchids from establishing themselves. It is very difficult to find because the rosette dries up and disappears 3 to 4 weeks before flowering.
